Cedar, slate, standing seam metal, copper, and tile are not asphalt with a different surface. They fail in specific ways when they're installed by crews who work in them once a year, and the failures don't show up for a decade.
North Georgia has plenty of roofing companies built to run crews fast and move to the next job. That model works fine for a standard asphalt reroof. It falls apart on specialty materials, where the difference between a 15 year roof and a 50 year roof is entirely in details a fast-moving crew doesn't have time to get right.
Thirty years in these materials is the whole difference, and it's the only thing we do.

A lot of companies say family owned because it tests well. For us it is just accurate. This business was built on work our family has been doing in north Georgia for more than thirty years, and the reputation attached to that name is the only thing we actually have to protect.
That shows up in small ways. We do not take jobs we are not equipped to do correctly. We do not disappear after the check clears. And when something goes wrong, which occasionally it does on any roof, you are calling the owner, not a service department.

Every inspection is photographed and written up in detail, for our own estimate and for your insurance carrier if it's a storm claim.
We install to spec
Manufacturer nailing patterns, correct exposure, real flashing details. Not a faster pattern that technically holds but underperforms or voids the warranty.
Insured on every job
Every project is fully insured before a single shingle comes off. Ask any contractor for proof of coverage. If they hesitate, that's your answer.
